Cheap snows in the GTA

Hey guys, I've got a 128 and I'm looking for a set of winter tires. I went to Canadian tire and they have a decent set of snows but I can't find steel wheels anywhere. If anybody could help me out for a place to go I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys.

I bought from Gill at Tire Rack ... very pleased with the product, service and price ... search for posts with his name ... BTW, we aren't related.

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually did browse Tire Rack, but I've always found the large shipping costs to offset any sort of discount online retailers provide.

What really sucks is there are loads of used winter tire packages for 3 series all over the place. Great tires and reasonable prices, but they don't fit the 1.

You may want to try Costco. Get a price on four 205/50R17, and pickup some 17" steel rims (also from Costco).

I would avoid Canadian Tire. Even if their tires were free, I would not let them touch my 1.

See my issue isn't the tires so much as it is the rims. Nobody seems to carry cheap steel wheels for the 128.

Does anybody know if 3 series rims will fit on the 1. This is my first BMW, but I had a Maxima before and we'd all swap Infiniti, Altima, etc rims onto our Maxima's.
