Car says complete electronics failure
Hi guys....I have had my new 135i for only 3 weeks.....My problem started like this.First i have the symbol,a triangle with this-!.I look it up and it indicates suspension failure.....I continue to drive as i am in no mans land at midnight..As i am pulling in my driveway i get a symbol of a car jacked up on a pole.Symbol is red.....I look it up and the manual says complete electronics failure,do not continue journey....WTF.My car is now on a flat bed....I am not too sure what to think......I just sold c6 corvette for this car......Any ideas..

Could be any number of faults ranging from minor sensor failure to, as the car describes, complete electronic failure. Let the dealer check it out before you get too upset. Might not be as bad as it seems. Either way it'll be covered under warranty.
Annoying I know though. My iDrive computer had to be replaced in the first month as it failed completely. Been fine ever since though.

bmw are known to have problems with their electronics. That is why i did not want to get the idrive or any auto or heated seats or any premium audio package offered. So far my car has no problems what so ever and plus i saved a bundle by adding portable gps in my car.
