Detailer's Domain: Porsche 911 C2S Swissvax
This was a detail that came from a Rennlist member, after months of going back and forth we finally got the schedule figured out and I finally got to meet this mint condition C2S (minus the paint of course, ) so after 2 years of ownership it had seen washes and waxes and was never polished, due to time constraints and no one in the customer's area to take care of it. When I got the car I found that the paint was dull and had tons of wash marks.
So a 2 step polish was done with Menzerna PO203 with an Uber Orange and Green pad followed by Menzerna PO85RD, I finished the car with Swissvax Crystal Rock. Products Used: Exterior: Lusso Auto Bath in the Cam Spray Foam Canon Swissvax Paint Rubber and Optimum Instant Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer for clay lube The Uber Menzerna PO203S/PO85RD Kit Menzerna Top Inspection Swissvax Crystal Rock Wheels and Tires Uber Wheel/Tire/Wheel Well Kit Replaced Swissvax Pneu on this one for Einszett Vinyl Rubber Care Interior and Glass (sorry no pics) Lusso Glass Polish Leather Master Strong Cleaner Leather Master Vital Einszett Cockpit Einszett Plastic/Vinyl Cleaner Engine: (sorry no pics) P21S Total Autowash No dressings needed Tools: Infratech 5300 Brinkmann MaxFire Metabo PE12-175 Makita 9227 Hi Speed Rotary The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Cam Spray 1500A with Cam Spray Foam Gun Before pics: Wax build up from the other guys Prepping with P21S Total Autowash, tried to remove the wax build up. what do you currently use for your leather?
some of this will be normal wear. but this kit has been extremely successful with our customers. works well and leaves a matte finish Leather Master Trio Kit |

i know very little about detailing, but i want it the leather to hold and still look good...so you recommend this kit. how do u feel about those leather wipes they sell at places like home depot, etc, they are like 10 bucks and say the moisturize and clean and all that? also, do you know how to get salt stains out of the pedal region; is just soap and water fine, thats what i was gonna do, just dont want the soap to discolor the carpet if its too strong. thks |

you can try soap and water but I think you might need something with a little more bite.
as for the leather I would skip on the wipes. if the seats are new then I would go with Einszett's Leathercare its a one step and should do what you need. |
