Random check engine light

So I'm randomly driving and my "service engine soon" light comes on with no codes thrown at all. Just randomly popped up. I have 10k miles and oil level is ok. At first thought it was the downpipes and o2 sims but there's no codes.( I don't have a scanner with me but the cars trip comp checks ok). Anyone else experience this?

There are certain SES lights which won't display on your trip monitor, so called "silent codes"...they are not hidden necessarily, but just won't display.

I thought all codes would display on my trip comp. I guess I'll have to get it scanned then. I'm still wondering what it might be

BT Scanner will tell you and turn it off

It could be one of many nuisance lights
