Grills are pitting?
Just PU'd a 135i production date 12/08 in great shape with 9k on the clock. Doing a good detail this weekend and noticed the chrome grills were pitting lightly? It's only 7 months old??? Anyone else have these issues? Will BMW replace them under warranty? I'd expect it from a Kia...but not a Bimmer...Especially since the 135 is all German assembled in Germany.

I'm not sure this would be something covered under warranty, certain wear and tear items are not covered such as rock chips. Try to reason with them and mention that it's a bit soon for them to start pitting.

The chrome peeled on the grills on my 325iS. They were replaced under warranty.
