Forge Intercooler for 135i goes into production

Forge (who am sure need no introduction when it comes to intercoolers!) have just finalised their development of their intercooler for the 335i/135i on our project 135i.

The intercoolers will be available in 4 weeks time.

The intercooler produced good results on an independant rolling road local to Forge HQ. The car has an evolve tune and BMW Performance exhaust.

Flywheel figures

Pre Forge intercooler: 381bhp and 376 ft/lb
Post Forge intercooler: 395.7 bhp and 400.2 lb/ft

I am waiting for the dyno graphs in a suitable format.

Here is the after graph:

Temperature data

Picture of the IC installed:

More pictures will be available soon but rest assured the quality will be there as with other Forge products.

RRP on this intercooler will be £650 inc VAT.

An introductory offer can be found here

Does the intercooler involve significant cutting in order to install? Can the intercooler be installed without removing the bumper?

NO cutting or trimming required. It can be installed without removing the bumper although it is a VERY tight fit.

What price can you do supplied and fitted ? as leaving the bumper on takes ages off the instal time.

I like designs without cutting the bumper, and leaving the original front mesh in looks more discrete and civilized
