sunroof noise
tried doing a search but wasn't able to find anything on it, so if this has been discussed before i would really appreciate it if someone could direct me in the right direction.
anyway, i noticed yesterday that when opening (not closing) the sunroof (tilting up the glass only) it seems to make a flapping sort of noise. something similar to sticking a piece of paper into a fan but at a much lower speed. so was wondering if anyone else noticed this?? other than that all the other functions of the sunroof work fine. |

I have a very very similar problem.. but the noise sounds like a bad barring or something.. a little more metal on metal sounding.... I thought it was normal but I don't remeber hearing it when I first got my car..good post

Got the same noise, sounds like something is binding. Not due for service yet, so I'm just going to wait till I bring it in to have them look at it all together.

I can add myself to the list of those with this problem, which stated a day after I just got my car back and which only makes my list of issues longer
