X-pipe, dealer and warranty........
Alright, I know there is going to be a number of different responses and theories on this topic. I just really want to know what people's experience has been when they take the car to the dealer for service and they see the full exhaust system under the car. At this point they obviously know you have a flashed ECU to avoid the CEL. Any of the SA's say anything about this or is it just sign unseen until something major happens and they blame the mod for the problem.

Not if you have a good relationship with your SA

Thanks Guys.... I have a pretty good SA. Really nice guy. He takes his job pretty seriously though so you never know. I do know that almost all of the techs in the back have 335 or 135s with flashes and all kinds of crazy mods.

they usually do write down mods you have. mine were all Dinan so it was never an issue but some of my friends with similar mods with different companies had issues and it was logged in the BMW comp so when he went somewhere else same problem. but like said if you got a good SA you can get around it. some may say it is Dinan who fix it not BMW but i never had issues on any of my M's with it. i just got my Midpipe for this car and so far so good
