Building A Set of CCW C14... Help Needed on Sizing
I am thinking about the following:
18x9.5 ET25 + 265/35/18 Nitto NT05 18x10.5 ET28 + 295/35/18 Nitto NT05 Also, I have Moton coil overs w/ 2.5" springs in the front. Lowered 0.5" all around. Is this a good set up? Will there be any rubbing/clearance issues? Finally, is there any point to run 18x10 in the front? (CCW is recommending it) But I've heard clearance issues from those who ran 10 up front. TIA! |

That looks like a pretty nice setup. If you are going to run the 265 in the front the 9.5" is fine - no need to go to a 10" width. I have seen a lot of people run a 275/30/18 on the front on 9.5" wheels without any issues. Not sure if your suspension drop will create any issues though.
Also on the rear your tire will be too tall - you should consider 295/30/18 instead to keep your rolling diameter in a better range. Nice wheels! |

I prefer a staggered set up to provide more rear grip -- from personal experience and feedback from some friends on this forum. Don't care for tire rotation... this is an expensive hobby and a few more tires won't bankrupt me

I'd be interested in such a set-up too. Think they'd give a discout for a second set? Provided it's less than the VOLK G2's in the same size.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

i think 10" in the front will rub on full lock when you have the steering wheel turned all the way for parking or going around tight corners in the city but it still depends on what tires you have on there of course. so there's a chance it'll be fine but i wont risk it.....

Just seached Rennlist and didn't see much. They're great wheels for the price, I had two sets. Since they're track wheels if you keep them out of UV light they should stay black much longer. Ano'd is lighter than powder.

Man I can't wait to see a set of CCWs on an M3. I have pretty much decided I am going with them for wheels for my Z06. Gotta support a GOOD wheel company in Florida.
