Opinion: Interior Leather Choice! Help!

Hey guys!

I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on my X6 but I am still having a hell of a time trying to decide on the interior leather color. I feel like I could use a few more opinions ...

I am 95% sure I am going with Alpine White exterior and Aluminum trim (I am not too much of a wood guy) ... but I can't decide whether to go with Chateau Nevada Leather or Saddle Brown Nevada Leather.

I know I'd be happy with either but what do you think?

Of course, here are some pictures I found for reference ...

Chateau Nevada ....

Saddle Nevada ...

Both are nice choices, but in my mind I always compare Chateau to Imola Red and it leaves me lacking - it doesn't "pop" enough for me...

I had Saddle in my 35i paired with Monaco Blue and loved it..I think Saddle would be a terrific choice with AW too...

Both would do the AW justice..Nice choice to have to make

What happened? Did you change your mind at the last minute?

I agree, the chateau is a little toned down compared to Imola and any of the other M leather offerings but I think it could still look very sharp.

I've looked at the pictures of your old 35i many times! The Saddle is very classy too ... you're right, they would both look nice with AW ... that's my problem.

saddle brown for sure. Chateau is a very dull colour.

Like the Saddle, just remember the Aluminium is soft & does scratch easy. Have the timber grain in our other BM, harder surface, doesn't show the scratches.

IMO Black is the best, you feel so comfortable,
but between red and brown I would go with red, that's what I actually did ))
anyways good luck on your choice

p.s. I also tired of brown cause I had it on my FX and 545i, maybe that's why I don't like it anymore

Thanks for the tip about the Aluminum ... I am usually very careful with my cars but I'll make sure to extra careful with the trim ... I have Aluminum in my M3 and haven't had too many problems (just a few scratches where the seat belt buckle meets the door trim) ... the wood does look very nice, it is just a little bit too luxury looking for me at this point ... and I like the fact that the aluminum has some texture about it

Yea, I hear you on the black ... It always looks nice and classy ... I just want to switch is up a little bit ... I really do like the fact that the whole rest of the interior is black (dash, carpet, etc.) with either the Saddle or Chateau.

For those of you that voted for "other" are you suggesting black?

I'm leaning 75%/25% right now in favor of Saddle ... I'm beginning to think that the Chateau is a little "too much" (with the AW), if you know what I mean ...
