quickest 135i on 19's?
Went to the track tuesday and ran a 12.205 @ 116.29 and it was on $100 coopers and a 6mt. Anyone go quicker or faster?

Very nice. Please post or PM mods.
It's nice to see that time/mph on 19's, because I'm running the same size rims. What was your 60ft time?

Nice time, what mods do you have? And for those of us who don't live in the US and have no idea what $100 coopers are, what are they?

Cooper tires. They make a no nonsense inexpensive performance tire.

Possibly you could have timed faster.... maybe a tenth, on 18's. But for 19's a good run. Sets a bar for you to beat next time....

jb3 18ohm map9 (went up t0 10 but traction was an issue), vk dp's, basic coolingmist ($200 kit with a m10 and 80/20), RR Exhaust, Simota 335i intake, 245/35/19's
My 60' was 2.0, last season I cut low 1.8's on run-flats but my clutch didnt last long doing that and at the time I was under warranty so bmw put another oem one in. Once I get an aftermarket clutch then I should see mid 11's. I also have a ets fmic on the way so maybe I will get upto 11's and 120mph traps. On map 10 it traped 118 so another 20hp from the fmic and another 1lb of boost could do it.

What rpm's did you launch at? Do you really think a aftermarket clutch will cut off another 1/2 sec.???

1500rpm and oh ya. I only cut a 2.0 60' and have done a 1.81 before and every .1 off your 60= .2 off your et.
My gf has the camera but here are the numbers for now r/t .188 60' 2.016 330 5.319 1/8 7.982 mph 93.77 1000 10.261 1/4 12.205 mph 116.29

Nice times. With your FMIC installed and 1.8 60 you'll be in the 11's for sure. Why not get a set of 17 inch rims and some nitto 555r's for the strip. What aftermarket clutch are you planning to go with?

That is what I am thinking.
The reason for not going with 17's and slicks is becuase I prefer to allocate money else where. More importantly to me is the reason I go to the track is to see what my street car can do as it would be driven on the street. I think I will go with the clutch masters fx400

Your not running an aftermarket intercooler and your running map 9? Were you at least using race gas? Please post the slip because this is one of the fastest 6mt times i've seen, especially on street tires.

A race track (or 'racetrack'), is a purpose-built facility for the conducting of races. This racing can be of animals (eg. horseracings or greyhound racing), human-operated machines (eg. automobiles or motorcycles), or athletes. A race track may also feature spectating facilities such as grandstands or concourses. Throughout the English-speaking world the term 'racecourse' is also used for horse-racing facilities. Race tracks built for bicycles are known as velodromes. |

Indeed my good sir!
UPDATE: Went last night and ran a 12.140 @ 115.64, the mph was so much less because of a huge bog from 3-4. I was also on 19's. Next week expect 11's and maybe a new reccord holder for 6mt.
