Thanks. I'm seeking input on how to best deal with all of the nooks and crannies. I've had lots of different rims over the years, but these have the most spots that are really hard to reach. I'm curious what tools those who have the same wheel have found saves them the most time.

I use a microfiber mitt for the face and this... Detail Brush for the cracks, etc. Also, be very careful with wheel cleaners. Many are acidic and can damage the rims. I typically only use car shampoo or, for REALLY dirty rims, P21S wheel cleaner gel.

OK, with your help, I figured it out. I can't believe how fast I cleaned them this morning. Sonax Wheel Cleaner and a Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush from Autogeek. Holy crap, I impressed myself.
Here's to proper tools! |

Just use one of those sponge type paint brushes with the wooden handle from home depot. They're like 50 cents each or something like that. Throw it away after a couple of months and get a new one.
The key is to wash your wheels often. Don't let the dust cake on because it'll just be harder to remove. Any basic car wash will do for your wheels. |

Someone already beat me to it, I prefer sonax or p21s if my wheels are really dirty. But I am always quick detailing them with Pinnacle Crystal Mist, when I get done driving. So usually they just clean up really well with a microfiber mitt or microfiber wheel brush to loosen the little bit of debris that still remains. For the smaller nooks and crannies I just have a collection of brushes from over the years. I also pull my wheels every 3-6 months depending on how much I drive
