Detailer's Domain: Alpine White BMW M3 - Complete Detail

[Detailers Domain]

This was a pretty extensive detail on this M3, unfortunately not the best example being Alpine White.

Interior was in pretty good shape, exterior/wheels/wheel wells/engine needed some work.

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
- Tires dressed with Adam's VRT
- Masking
- 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Engine Cleaned and Dressed

sonax is safe I just did a set of them and I told my customer to get them sent out so he can get the clear coated, it blows my mind that you spend that much money on wheels and the inner wheel barrel is not cleared and the lips are not.

you need to get in there with a brush and metal polish, its just about the worst wheels I have worked on, 4 hours on them and this particular car is barely driven.

Im wondering why you didnt post after shots of the paint with lights on it, like you did for the before's?

Reason I ask is that I had my car detailed just to repair those swirls/circles in the paint. Claybar and everything, but after, it was all still there. Paint was smooth as glass, but still had the crazy swirls/circles in the sun, or under lights.

MY guy told me that is part of the metal under the paint and that it will never go away, and that all cars have this. I was pretty bummed after hearing this.

Is he right?

Yea, Ive seen these before and after pics on here, and thats why I asked him to take care of it, it was really bothering me. Now im just extra pissed that I paid $200 and still have the Effing $hit on my paint.

Phil...Ive got a question about the Adams In and Out for the engine bay use...is that something you spray on...and wash off...or you spray on...the the engine heat up...and your done? Im pretty interested in trying that stuff out...can you give me some pointers?

adam's in and out is a dressing.

you will have to clean up your engine first.

then once its clean and dry you can apply the in and out to it.
