Detailer's Domain: Alpine White BMW M3 - Complete Detail
This was a pretty extensive detail on this M3, unfortunately not the best example being Alpine White.
Take a look at the complete write up. Interior was in pretty good shape, exterior/wheels/wheel wells/engine needed some work. Big thanks to the crew that came by to help out Alvin, Joe, and Dan! What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down - Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Paint inspected and measured - Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray - Tires dressed with Adam's VRT - Masking - 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue) - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned - Engine Cleaned and Dressed Interior - Sonax Dashboard Cleaner - Einszett Leather Care - Einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner Products used: (feel free to click the link below for more info) Exterior: Valugard Detail Wash P21S Total Auto Wash Uber Yellow Wash Sponge Uber Clay Bar kit with Optimum No Rinse Einszett Spray Wax Meguiars M105 Menzerna Super Intensive Polish Menzerna PO85RD Menzerna Power Lock Engine Adam's In and Out P21S TAW Wheels/Tires Sonax Wheel Cleaner Adam's VRT 3m Adhesive Remover Plastic Razor Blades Interior Sonax Dashboard Cleaner einszett Leathercare einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner Glass Adam's Glass Cleaner Adam's Glass Sealant Tools: Infratech 5300 Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Fenix TK40 Flex 3403 Makita Metabo The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Brushes Cam Spray Pressure Wash and Foam Canon Attachment Interior Before After Engine before P21S TAW and some brushing Adam's In and Out Engine After Exterior Before shots Pre-soak/Wash/Clay/Wheels More wheel details in a second Next up the car was jacked up for a complete wheel detail and undercarriage detail Wheel wells Before brakes After Tons of gunk to remove 3M Adhesive Remover goes to work After (tons of chips under the gunk) Another round of wheels this time inner wheels Adhesive from weights After shot of wheel Imperfections are really hard to detect on white as you all know, here are some of the better shots Polishing with friends is fun... lol Before shots After shot of polishing After shots (clouds came in .....sorry) Permission for the write up granted by the customer |

Great job guys
How that car got screwed over is unbelievable. Whats with all the tar? Brutal Hard to make white look so bad. Was this a new owner or the same dude? |

Im wondering why you didnt post after shots of the paint with lights on it, like you did for the before's?
Reason I ask is that I had my car detailed just to repair those swirls/circles in the paint. Claybar and everything, but after, it was all still there. Paint was smooth as glass, but still had the crazy swirls/circles in the sun, or under lights. MY guy told me that is part of the metal under the paint and that it will never go away, and that all cars have this. I was pretty bummed after hearing this. Is he right? D |

Yea, Ive seen these before and after pics on here, and thats why I asked him to take care of it, it was really bothering me. Now im just extra pissed that I paid $200 and still have the Effing $hit on my paint.

Phil...Ive got a question about the Adams In and Out for the engine bay use...is that something you spray on...and wash off...or you spray on...the the engine heat up...and your done? Im pretty interested in trying that stuff out...can you give me some pointers?

adam's in and out is a dressing.
you will have to clean up your engine first. then once its clean and dry you can apply the in and out to it. take a look at these videos Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Adam's In and Out Spray |
