Unhappy 528i Tire issues

hello, I just installed a set of 18 inch wheels on my 2008 528i
245/45zr18 in the rear and 225/40zr18 in the front and now having stability warning light on, brake ABS light on

What mistake did I make?
what size tires are the correct ones for my Hamnn 18"

thanks

Not sure, but on my 2006 530i with sports package the tire size is 245/40R18 all the way around. With 2 different series tires on your car, that might be an issue and require a trip to the dealer. Hope that helps.

The size is 245/40/18 all around. I just happen to be selling a set of brand new Pirelli P7 Cinturatos in that size with zero miles, which sell for $370 each at Tire Rack. I'll sell all four for $750 + shipping, which is 50% off and a great deal. Let me know if you have any interest. I have a full posting on this e-60 forum that I put up today.

You use this link to check tire size that is equal or close enough to your stock.

Tire size should have nothing to do with warning lights. Your issue has to be with tire pressure sensors or something else non tire related.

Did you ever get your problem solved? I think you should have put 245/40 on the back and 225/45 on the front. I'll bet since you have a pretty good difference in tire diameters between the front and back the computer thinks your wheels are slipping and throws the code. When you brake it also thinks your front wheels are sliding since the speed between front and back is now different.
