OEM Arch extension kit for X6?
Has anyone tried to retrofit the X5's Arch extension kit on an X6? M-style shop based in the UK is selling them as part of their X6 catalog. It'll be a nice and subtle way to visually widen the body. Cheers!

I found the following pics online, I hope nobody minds that I used them.
As you can see by the pic, on the X5, the arch extension doesn't surround the wheel entirely in the rear; it is cut short by the bumper. On the X6, there is no bumper sticking out so you'd be missing that portion of the arch extension. In regards to the front, it looks like it might actually work. The shape of the fender seems to be the same. |
