Scratched Shadowline Trim
So a buddy of mine runs into my office to let me know that some worker spilled a little paint on my car and wiped it off using his workman's glove. I rush out to find that the shadowline trim and a bit of the front passenger door is pretty scratched up.
I don't have any good pictures of it yet to upload, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the standard procedure is to repair the trim? Did a quick search on the forum and didn't see anything about scratched trim. |

Clay off any paint left over and then polish the trim as if it was a painted surface. If you need to buy polish I would go with meguiars 105 and 205

Interesting. My detailing supplies came in recently, including Megs 105/205.
Thanks. I'll still try to post pictures. I moved recently and canceled my appointment with my internet guy to go to the track. Gotta wait until Monday. |
