Will the E92 M3 need a GT1 tool to dyno?

What is needed to dyno a E92 M3? I remember with the S54 E46 M3 without a GT1 tool my car wouldn't rev past 6500rpm.

I think the GT1 is only up to 2009 March. I purchased one from China lol, then sold it back because it was pain in the ass to work with but I still have the software for reference only....

You dont need any tools to dyno the E92 M3. I understand with the E46 there was some problems going past a certain RPM and required to set the ECu in "dyno" mode or something. Not for the E92 M3.
