I have seen some here do it and their pictures. Looks really good. Try searching for debadged . There are no holes behind the side badges nor the X5 badge.
Here is a YouTube video: of a guy doing it to his 2011 X5. Last edited by Stephen5242; 12-15-2010 at 05:46 PM.. |

Just use some dental floss and slide it behind the emblem apply gentle pressure start from one side and go in an up and down motion. It's best to do when the car is still new, so there will be no discoloration. Once the emblem pops off rub the remaining glue off with your finger it's actually a lot easier than you think.

If your girl wants you to shave her emblems, best to use a nice razor and have some fun!

Can't you just take a blow dryer to heat up the glue and then just peel off? I've done this with several cars and then just cleaned up the area with rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone.

Depending on how old your car is the more trouble you will run into. I did it to my car the day after I got it , and the glue came right off with no problem at all just rubbed it right off.
