No DTC button on dash

If I don't have a DTC button on the dashboard does that mean I don't have launch control with my dct? I can't get lauch control (lc) to work and the manual says I need to turn off DTC via this button to initiate lc.

Any help would be appreciated.

DTC, traction control, is only on non-M models. Similar to MDM, but not as smart to put it simply.

Press the DSC button until it turns off.

it's next to the gear shift, left side, look down, button closest to the seatbelt latch, says "DSC off"

BTW, do you have that SST transmission on the evo. If so, how do you think it compares?

i have a mt evo ix but ive driven an x evo with sst and theres no comparison. the sst is clunky and not as fast or smooth imo

Do a search for launch control and you will eventually find that this question has been asked and answered a thousand times.
