Good autoshippers?!

gf is picking up a 135 soon, but unfortunately we have to ship the car from CA to NJ....such a long way!!
Just want to know if anyone has any experience with any auto shippers.
Which one should I use and also which to stay away...?

Thanks in advance, sorry if the topic has been covered, I simply wanted a more updated info.

I moved accross country last year. I can't remember who we used, but it was an open transport (car not inside of trailer). That's not the point though. Whoever you use, do research on and check with the BBB to find out about complaints and such. I would assume you are shipping an M3 and I would want a closed transport which will be more pricey but at least you won't have 5 inches of dirt, oil, ice, bird crap etc on your car. Good Luck.

Personally, I wouldn't mind getting an open trailer. I'd blue tape up all the "sensitive" areas anyway and take a ton of pre-transport pictures.

A few of my coworkers who were moved cross country said it cost anywhere from $700-1500 for an open truck.

I always use RAT (Ready Auto Transit) out of Santa Fe. They are really cheap and very reliable. 480 558 3200.

American Auto Transport is pretty good. They were amongst the cheapest and did the job fairly well.

Intercity, Reliable and Horseless Carriage are all very reputable companies with enclosed carriers only. Stay away from das, I've heard bad things about them and they don't always use enclosed carriers.

They really are great. We used to use them when I sold Ferrari/Maserati but they are a literal fortune.
