Help! Weird clanking noise coming from rear wheel at low speeds.
I just noticed this when I put the top down, so I'm not sure how long it's been happening. Only happens at very low speeds, like 5MPH. Noise goes away above that.
It's almost like there's a rock or something in the wheel. I had spacers installed last week, so it's possible it's related. Wondering if I should stop driving the car until I get it checked out... Last edited by tlr; 02-21-2011 at 09:07 PM.. |

Rock in the heat shield around the brake... has happened to me twice and both times went away after a while when the rock fell out. Annoying as hell but no big deal.

wow that sucks... my dealer would have no problem with me doing a track day... that is definitely a warranty issue...

I had a rock stuck too once. You can bang on the heat shield to see if it rattles around in there.. Its likely at the bottom, just pull it out a bit and it will fall out.
