trackday wheels and tires

Guys,
I'm looking for a set of good wheels and tires for track day use for my 11 e92.
There seem to be a million selections out there and depending on shops I nquire, they all recommend different things.
Some of the criterias are
1- good traction, it is for track day use afterall..
2- reasonable price
3- nice to look at
What do you think?

I'm no expert at it but many on the forum seem to favor Apex ARC-8 wheels. Very light & strong 18" wheels, and good price too. These are used in square setup (18x10 w/ 275/35/18 tires) or staggered (265/35/18 & 295/30/18).

As for tires, either Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 (new, track & street), or (used, track only) Hoosier Continental Grand Am Racing Series tires (jpjp is selling these used once or twice tires for around $100 each).

Don't know, but easy to edit it out. I just edited it out from your quote in my reply.
