Huge rock chip

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion about what to do...

Today I got a rather large rock chip on the freeway, with a couple of cracks extending beyond the size of a quarter. All Star Glass said that they probably have to replace the windshield.

I called and set an appointment at New Century for tomorrow morning. Maybe better to get the glass fixed at the dealership. Insurance will cover, I believe.

Any thoughts or suggestions from your experience? Thanks in advance.

extended cracks means you will have to replace the windshield. Repairs are usuallly limited to quarter or smaller size.
