New guy, saying hi
Hey guys, I've been a long time m3 post reader, and I finally took delivery of my own 4 days ago, and let me just say, driving the m3 feels out of this world. especially since I moved from a 2000 honda accord se. I still can't stop smiling every time I look at the car
Although, I do have, what may seem like, stupid or infantile questions, please just bare with me. I rather ask stupid questions than put the wrong part on my car and mess it up. I guess the first stupid question is that, will a 19x8 et37 & 19x9 et39 wheel fit my car? i understand the 19x8/9 part. what confuses me the most is the et or offset. From my understanding, my style 359m 19x10 et25 Rear, and 19x9 et31front I like to have a second set of wheels that doesn't involve spacers and such. So please help. Right! a little bit about the car It's a 2011 BMW M3 (obviously), Jereze Black, with fox red and black/black interior. Competition package, convenience package, 7 speed DCT, navigation etc. and moon roof (which i guess, replaces the CF roof). It's great to be part of a community and an owner of an m3. I love that car to death! it's been very difficult to refrain from driving the car none stop, and of course, photos will come. Which reminds me, those of you from LI, What are some nice places to photograph your cars? Looking forward to hear form you guys PS: any car caring tips, products, producers, rituals, or anything, just shout them out Last edited by keisakura; 08-01-2011 at 11:31 AM.. |

iif you want tucked in set up without spacers i would get 19x9.5 +22 = with 265.35.19 (this will rub on full lock) but that usually happens when your trying to back in and out on your garage or parallel parking. some will say get the 255 set up... 19x10.5 + 22 = with 295.30.19 no issue with my set up im running 19x9.5 + 22 with 255.35.19 19x11 + 33 with 305.30.19 with no issue on rubbing ************************************************** ************* check this out... give you an idea on what offset is. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101
