Noobie to this forum, curious about mods...

Hello everyone - I'm picking up my new 135 in a few days (Can't WAIT! See photo)...

After reading up on some of these threads, it seems that BMW can now detect re-flashes...does anyone know what mods can be performed on my car that wouldn't void the warranty, but would still give me more power? Don't get me wrong - the stock power is impressive, but you know how power is, once you have some...you always want more.

I'm curious what avenues I can explore in the future to increase power without voiding my warranty.

Congrats on the new car, but you just opened a huge can of worms. Search wont do you any good either...just do it. The dealer can black list you and refuse to do the work, but they cannot void your warranty....that is illegal. Buy the JB4 (remove it b4 seeing the dealer), Cobb AP (reflash to stock b4 seeing the dealer), or other. I am currently running Stage 2 with Cobb

You will not gain enough whp with bolt-ons alone so good luck with your decision. Do some more research especially regarding your State's Attorney General and Consumer warranty rights.

Jb4 FTW! You can just take it out before you go in for service. Although I went to the dealer the other day with FBO and meth and they didn't care they still did service on my car at no cost. The dealer here is really cool but it all depends on what dealership you go to. Good luck on your new 1er and welcome to the forum!
