How to use BT Scanner?
I hope this is not a dump question. After I connect the BT scanner to the ODB II port and my laptop and launch the application, do I need to start the motor or just turn on the car (all warning lights on) without car running to activate the scan and how to export the log? Please help and thanks.

I think for the first time you hook up the BT tool... you will need an internet connection to register the cable. After that you do not need a WLAN connection.
I have used my BT tool with the engine off or on. You can click to save this session(at the beginning) which lets you look at the data later on. Without your laptop hooked up to the car.
