Cobb HP no reply
Emaied Cobb several times requesting hp/tq for their AP stage 1 "drive" spec. for CA 91 octane. 2010 135i manual. According to Cobb site it's a milder tune, however after numerous requests, still no reply from Cobb! Has anyone received info. Re this tune, better yet actual hp/tq results? Thanks.

This is the best you'll find, there are probably very few people with a dyno of stage 1 91 octane

I called a few days ago and their voicemail stated they were out of the office until after NYE. Didn't pay much attention to the actual date once I heard they were out.

Actually it is very constructive BTW, Each Dyno is different FYI thats why i never do Dynojet because those numbers are BS to me. I do Dyno Dynamics because those are the most realistic numbers, Thats why its called the heart breaker.

readthethread: Not interested I buying ap, then dynoing, or finding the ultimate dyno!! I just wanted an estimate from a source that has comparative figures. Of which is contained in thiis thread. So as far as I' m concerned still...non constructive, just more opinions. |

30 day money back guarantee, if you don't like it send it back, most I've paid for a dyno is $40 for two pulls. If you only want to run stage 1 drive you'd be better off just getting a used jb+ for $50.

i have a jb that i never installed due to not wanting to enter the ecu. don't like the idea of removing the airbox eighter for the other jb model. yes i considered the 30 day return policy, which is great, however i would still like to hear from cobb re their estimates, re. crappy CA 91 octane, the 135i & the ap. for only a 10% bump i would choose bmw performance for $599. thanks.
