Vette ZR1 2:50.7 GT-R (2012) 2:53.2 Panamera Turbo S 3:00.7 Boss 302 Laguna Seca 3:02.8 Impressive bang for the buck. Excellent. Cayman R 3:03.9 TT-RS 3:04.8 Beat the 1M this time. MB CLS63 AMG Coupe 3:04.9 Impressive for such a huge beast. Evora S 3:05.3 MB C63 AMG Coupe 3:06.3 Still behind the M3. 1M 3:06.6 About where it should fall on a power track. Challenger SRT-8 392 3:09.4 Charger SRT-8 3:10.1 Z4 sDrive 35is 3:10.4 X5M 3:11.1 Crazy for an SUV. 335is 3:13.8 Golf R 3:14.0 Jeep GC SRT8 3:17.4 MINI Cooper JCW Coupe 3:18.4 Honda Civic Si 3:24.1 Jetta GLI 3:27.3 Disappointing.

Where would a Cayenne Turbo fall on this? There is a crazy argument going on on Jalopnik where some dude with a Cayenne Turbo is saying he can outrun a WRX STi on a track.

Impressed the TT-RS out ran the 1M by about 2 sec given parasitic losses of AWD on a fast track. Cayman R is also very impressive besting the 1M by 2.7 sec. The ZR1 is simply another league.

The BOSS LS did great but keep in mind the LS had to lose the back seats, add a fully adjustable track suspension and most important, run on R compound tires. The tires alone are worth 1 sec/min. I am far more impressed with the 1M time. Give me those tires, JUST the tires and it's right up there with the BOSS302! Why do you think so many Ring times have been in question because of tires alone, it's a huge factor but an easy one to equalize between cars. It has been discussed in this ealier thread(titled: Boss302RIPS 1M). http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631944
I am just amazed how many 135 guys are so excited by the BossLS besting the 1M by 3 seconds on VIR? There strong dislike of the 1M has totally clouded their judgement. Like I said in that thread:

I'm not surprised. 335is has no LSD, weighs more. The Golf R is AWD and has a center and/or rear limited slip I believe. Have you driven a Golf btw? I have a TDI which has I believe the same sport suspension as the GTI and the car has go-kart like handling.
