Dyno help
I have an appt to get my 2010 PPK Steptronic equipped car dyno tested today at 12:30. Just so I know for sure. Whats the best way to test it. TC completley off, in D or S mode?

remember in Sport mode the car sharpens up a bit. |

The PPK only adds about 1psi of boost so expect 10-15hp gains with it. If you want a little more kick maybe throw a JB+ or JB4 on top of it.

Tell me about it! The two guys doing the dyno said the car kept kicking down a gear when pushed hard. Said it happened in D and also in S. He kind of soft pedaled it to prevent it from dropping down. Im hoping he didnt get good power numbers from taking it too easy on the throttle. I recall reading some guys put a stop on the back of the pedal to prevent it from doing that.
Im going to find out exactly how its supposed to be done and give it another go, there or a different place. |
