Cobb + intake?

I'm looking to get the AP for my 135. I don't plan on running getting downpipes or or FMIC, so sticking to stage one. now my question is, since the stage 1 is for a stock setup, would an intake benefit my setup? it would either be the BMS dci or the AFe, but can't decide which one. any thoughts.

One benefit, besides a small gain in power of the upper RPM band, is great induction and diverter valve noises with the DCI.

^Agreed. One thing I would add would be the smile you will have after hearing the upgraded induction combined with DV noise/wooossh.

The Cobb Stage 1 tune does not have any mod requirements and will work fine on a stock car. Adding an intake will be beneficial as you're increasing airflow over the stock box (which is a bit restrictive). In addition, you'll definitely have better throttle response and of course hear the intake system inside the cabin!

So I did an Afe intake while I was running Cobb stage 1. I didn't notice much of a difference, and I actually put my car back to the stock intake for some warranty work. I liked the sound of the Afe better however the power increase was minimal. However, after the warranty work was done I switched to Cobb stage two. Did a few pulls with the stock intake and then put the Afe on and it made a noticeable difference.
