New 135i vert on order- retiring the Z4
After 9 years and 140,000 miles I finally decided to say goodbye to my beloved '03 Z4 and order a 135i. I cannot believe how much more fun the 135i is to drive even than my Z4. Will take Performance Center delivery in about 8 weeks!

Great choice in upgrade! Never was a fan of the Z car. You'll love it, especially the 6 speed manual!

I did the same thing last year and haven't looked back since. I love the 135i and the extra room, however I do miss the top down driving.

I love this car - I'm sure you will appreciate the performance improvement and still have the benefit of a convertible. |

I traded my '03 Z4 in on one of the first 128i verts in '08. The 1er is more flexible (and comfortable) for extended road trips without losing much of the Z4's handling. The hydraulic steering feel is also superior to the electricly boosted steering on the Z4.

Almost the same story
Traded in a Z3 (2.8, MT, 45K) on a 2009 128i (17K, 6MT) and I am of the same exact opinion. I thought the Z3 was fun, till I drove the 128.
