After Months of Lurking...............
Hi everybody! After months of lurking on the Z4um site and waiting for my acceptance email I've decided to join the ZPOST. Looks like most everybody migrated over here. I hope that some of the DIY stuff also makes it's way over here. There was some cool info over there. The E90 post is also really excellent. The beautiful picture thread is a must see. I'm going to buy a 328i for my wife (i.e., ME) next month.
In Feb of this year I purchased a 2003 3.0 fully loaded garage queen for the paltry sum of 25K USD. After researching all of the 2 seat roadsters on the market (both new and used) it was a no-brainer. I couldn't be happier. This car rules! I was a Corvette mechanic during the late 80s and early 90s and I was really determined to buy a 'Vette, but this car is just amazing. In the next few months I hope to install a BMW aero front end, some CSL repro wheels and an Eisenmann dual exhaust. A Rotrex supercharger from Active Autowerkes in Miami is also in the cards. We're all very fortunate that the design elements from this car have set the standard for BMW in the years to come. When this car was released in 2003 it was way ahead of it's time. The new 3 series cars guarantee that our cars will look "fresh" for many years to come. Here's some pics of my garage queen. I look forward to interacting with all of you....good, bad, or otherwise!!!!!!!!!!! |

QUOTE] He will do nicely, thanks for being so thoughtful. I'd prefer short hair though..only partially drooling over him. I'll try to stop drooling, though seriously I totally love the merlot and tan. It a nice looking car. |
