Did you at least have the decency to slit its throat afterwards for desecrating your car?

When Bimmerforums comes back up, search the Z4 forum for Ridgeway. After an accident that removed pretty much the entire front end of his Z4, he replaced the hood with an M version. IIRC, Sephanite did the same thing, but I don't know where he went after Z4um went down.

The hood would fit with some modifications as the hood latches are located differently. The regular Z4 has 1 hood latch right above the front bumper BMW roundel. The M hood has 2 hood lathces, one on either side of the front edges near the headlights.
The front bumper would fit but would require trimming the wheel-arch plastic liner.

That's crap it's made in friggin spartanburg SC, but they gotta get the parts from Germany??? That's crazy man, I feel for ya. I hadn't driven mine in a few days so I took it for a spin today and tested out my first radar detector. I'm not sure if I liked it or not...I think it can make you a little over confident at times...
