TPMS

I just got in my car this morning and when I started her up the tire pressure sensor light was blinking at first then went to a steady yellow. I've yet to check my air pressure, but one, it was at the dealer till this past Fri. and second the tires "look" fine. Any ideas?

Also, I have yet to check the air pressure on this car yet, but how do you do it? I know it sounds like a trivial question but the stems on this car doesn't look like every other car I've owned. Even the ones that had TPMS on them. Any help would be appreciated.

Drive it to your dealer and have them plug it if possible..you have a slow leak..

RFTs will look "normal" even if they're flat due to the rigid side walls.

Check your pressures. I don't know what your wheels look like, but I just use a regular digital tire pressure gauge to measure mine.

Thanks for the replies.

I see that there's a weird looking cap on the stem. Do I just pull it out? Will it look like a "normal" air stem under it? That's what I was curious about. Again, I haven't had the time to investigate it any further than taking a quick look at it.

On an off topic note: what is a good pressure to keep stock 18" RFTs at? Thanks

Check your driver's door jamb. Should be 33psi front, 36psi rear.

And make sure to measure your pressure cold. A hot day and hard driving will add 8 PSI or so.
