How can you tell if the OEM 359m rims are real instead of replicas?

It's got to be very difficult, especially if the wheel is a little dirty. I think the biggest give away is the finish. Especially with the GTS wheels.

On the back of the wheel (where it mounts to the hub) ..its stamped BMW..just have someone take a close up pic and you're good

Right, but nobody ever looks back there, sure if you are buying, but if you are parking lot pimping...it would take a trained eye.

Agree if you know the ZCP wheels you can spot a replica in a heart beat..this is just the sure fire method

OP are you buying from someone on this forum? If so, just ask them... I think most of us here are pretty reputable, though no way to know 100% it's not a scam. Ebay, Craigslist - now that's a different story...
