bought a 2010 M3 E90 today - question

when I parked it in the garage tonight there was some antifreese hitting the motor and making a hissing sound and some on the ground? Very common on my 67 camaro but I would have thought the M3 would have a catch can or something? call the dealer? Thanks

Are you sure it wasn't water from the AC?

Antifreeze should defiantly not be leaking, if it's under warranty take it to the dealer.

I too hear this noise, not sure if it is antifreeze though. I am also curious as to what it is.

OP Do NOT taste it. But yes, Lots of AC condensate is normal, especially if it was hot and humid...

Ac condensation is normal, as already stated. All vehicles with 134A systems have a moisture drain tube.

Let it cool & check the fluid level. If it's a little low add BMW anti freeze & moniter it. It's only $10 or so at the dealer.

I thought I had a slight leak, turns out I didn't .
