No, no name yet. Not sure if its a boy or girl yet in fact. Lol!!! No comments about my being from California...please.

I guess it could be Black Beauty.....yeah, let me think on that for a bit....it certainly fits. Hey and then I don't have to figure out if its a girl or boy too.

So far we have Bluesie, Emma, Zeddi, Dammit can't spell the name for his car, AlterEgo is calling his AlterEgo apparently.

155 for a marketing guy you have to come up with something better then BMW Z4///M, you marketing guys are always coming up with weird names for us ops people to call things....come on THINK!!! I remember we had itchy and scratchy for names of products once. That made for interesting meetings.

Oh, I can certainly come up with clever names when necessary...I have done my share of that over the years. The problem is not coming up with a name. The problem I have is different. Giving a name to my car just doesn't feel right. It is just a car, it doesn't need a name.

Anyway, when I refer to the car, I'll say....I am going in "the car". If someone says "which one", I'll say "the Z4", or "the M" or sometimes "the sports car" or even sometimes "the silver car".

So, having a name for it just isn't necessary. But if you want to give your car a name and need help naming it I can make some suggestions. Here is a list

1) Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrroger - this emphasizes the growl of the exhaust but gives it a distinctive personality
2) Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrandy - again emphasizes the growl of the exhaust, but has a playful twist
3) Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrachel - Same but female.....

There are three to choose from, let me know if you need more.

my boyfriend and his friends decided to name my car beetlejuice.. after that midget from the howard stern show.. and i've been trying to break the name ever since.

Naming the car is certainly abnormal behaviour, but I see it as something fun. I don't refer to my car as Emma all the time. When I refer to the car, I'll usually say "the car" as well. I'll only mention "Emma" to those who know that I've named my car.

Rosie, how about "Zorro?" He's a hero in black and darts around very fast. And his signature trademark... the "Z".

Yeah, but remember: girls like cute stuff. If she feels like she's riding in a car with personality (rather than just a machine) it warms her up faster than the heated seats.

Everyone that knows me refers to my car as Sabine. No one calls her "The Z4" or "The BMW" or "The Beemer".

It's Sabine and that's all there is to it. She is something very special and likes to be treated as such. And she makes no bones about it.

Now if I had a Hyundai Excel that was falling apart - THAT I would refer to as "The car" or "The shitbox" or "The deathtrap".

I am going to name my Z4 (when I get one) Zeddi. I was going to name it "my girl" so when Im going somewhere I could say "I came with my girl here topless".
