Bug splatter death
Bug splatter death, on front bumper, cooked into the clear. Is there any recovery from this?

If it's etched into the clear, then you'll have to polish.

Bringing this one back from the dead-
I have the same issue, baked on bug splatter that just doesn't want to come off. Tried using compound then polishing (by hand), bug/tar remover, etc with no results. Any suggestions on what to try next? |

That's why you get a clear bra. Having a good sealant layer also helps.
The main thing is to not let the bugs sit on the paint long. The longer the bug guts sit, the more it eats into the paint.
