It's better to get your dealer to flash the car back to stock before flashing it with the AP

What do you mean by "special"? AP is plug and play flashing via obd, so no you dont need anything to make it work. Now depending on map you will need DPs/fmic/cai/etc, but a totally stock car will take to map1 well. Cobb makes a great product, cheaper than dinan, removeable for service work, good power delivery and relatively safe timing and boost management. Go for it!

The car is already flashed with Dinan stage 2.

What I wanted to know was if it needed to be flashed back to stock first.

You can flash right over the Dinan tune... HOWEVER, i [B]STRONGLY[/B suggest getting the dealer to flash back to stock. I've seen some very goofy things in logs from cars that flashed over the Dinan tune.
