I have it, same one as for the normal 3 series.
It's a NOAH car cover, very high quality and nearly perfect fitment. Although I wish they had a nice M specific one like the 1M cover that they sell.

this gets pretty good reviews and it looks very light and hassle free, but seeing many for sale used makes me think theres something wrong with them. i dont know. i park mine in a garage and for storage i think wrapping it up makes sense.

I think people buy them with the intention of using them all the time but find that in the end, they rarely put it on.

I've gone back and forth on the decision to get one. In the end, I don't know if it's worth it. Your paint will get scratched regardless of how clean the car is before you put it on the car since the cover will come into contact with the car. It's almost unavoidable.

They are tailor made for your specific model and I found them to be excellent. I selected the Weathershield HP and got the "Gustbuster" tie downs. Light & Compact yet sturdy, uses little room in the trunk. Easily cleaned. Very satisfied. |

Reviving an old post here, but who has an outdoor car cover other than the OEM? Any recommendations on which is best? I'm looking to get one for occasional use.

I bought a Covercraft Evolution 4 a couple of months ago. Great product, fits snugly. No complaints.
I do only use if for long term storage when the car is clean. Last edited by InterJon; 12-11-2013 at 03:31 PM.. |

I'm using it on my FJ Cruiser since it's too large for the garage. Pros... So far no scratches... Haven't washed the truck for over a month with occasional touch ups using a quick detailer + California car duster prior to putting on cover... It's rained several times here in socal and the truck stays completely dry. Cons... To keep dirt and dust from settling... I need to cover as soon as I get home and at work... The FJ is big so it takes 5-10 min each time climbing up on the truck. Need to dust and use a quick detailer for touch ups prior to applying cover. Overall I am glad I got it since it is always parked outside where there are trees and hardwater from sprinklers... And so far it has protected perfectly for those. Now I am tempted to either get the lighter weathershield hp for the M3 vs the heavier oe one... I hate washing the m3 then the gardeners at the office blow debri all over the car with blowers. |

I can't imagine without one! The OEM is a high quality made cover for your ///M3. The frabic is machine washable and safe too! I can't thank this cover enough for providing sun protection, dust and other particles in the air, bird shit, cats and other critters trying to climb on the car etc. And when it rains, it is well protected and dries off pretty quick too.
If you have the OEM CF spoiler, I don't think it will fit. But otherwise, it fits well like a glove! |
