Oil pump replaced

Got a call early this am from my local dealer that new oil pump was in and they were ready to go! Hats off to Taylor BMW in Augusta GA. The job was done in 2 hours and I even meet the Mechanic that did the work! Very satisfied! It's been a good day, now I want to drive the mess out of this awesome car!

Yeah - I got a phone call from my dealer last Friday saying the new oil pump was in. I didn't have time to arrange for tow that day so I said I'll have BMW roadside tow it in Monday.

I have the car back now...new oil pump is in. They also replaced the diff oil at the same time for some reason.

Hope everyone else here affected has a quick, painless replacement too.

I got my oil pump changed today and am back in business. What a relief. I was a bit surprised they went ahead and did my break-in service since I was only at 750 miles. I was told BMW authorized it. My SA called and said "go ahead and drive the hell out of it." I guess I will!

Got my call today. Oil pump landed. Apparently first in Charlotte. Not sure why it's taking so long for this city to get pimps. Anyway apparently mine will be first. Car to be ready Saturday. Fingers crossed

BTW I haven't taken delivery yet at all. My car has been sitting in the dealership since arrival. I haven't so much as started it ever.
