seems like an oxy moron to me. either way, the spy pictures of the M3 vert are without CF. i think it's safe to assume it won't be CF.

CF folding hardtop
At one point an aluminum roof was predicted by someone (don't remember source) for the cab. Haven't seen any update on this.

I thought I read somewhere that it'll be steel, which is also an option for the coupe.

ROTFLMAO
Are you kidding me? A vert is not a performance car, so a CF roof would be a waste: Adding 200kg and the saving 5kg by replacing a small roof part by CF doesn't make too much sense...
I think people who ask such questions buy M3 verts (or similar) for reasons like: 1. M badge 2. Shiny quad exhausts 3. Side vents 4. Power dome 5. CF stuff 6. Did I mention the M badge? |

I am not "definitely getting" one, but I might get one. The reason is that its arguably the best 4 seat convertible on the market under 100k. Ok maybe a 911 would be better, but that would be nearly 100k with options and tax. |

The E93 weighs substantially more than a comparable E92, and I would venture to guess that a very significant portion of that added weight is not from the roof alone.

Of course, you are correct, e93 M3 won't have the CF roof, but you're logic is wrong. |
