Is white on Red interior going to be stupid?

Yea...
is white on red going to be stupid?

I have been thinking about this for a long time... Will it get tiring? should I stick with Black interior?

2008 M3  [4.00]
2007 335i  [9.00]
2008 528i  [8.00]
2006 Infiniti - G35 ...  [8.00]
i saw a white on red 335 convertible and looked amazing.

I would be more conservative and go maybe with Saddle. I wouldnt go normal colors like gray or black, but on the other hand i wouldnt go all the way red.

But that's just me. The reason for that is every time i buy like a red shirt, or red shoes, or anything that's flashy i end up wearing it a couple of times and i always wear regular colors. so i think the rule would still apply for cars, to me anyway

My choices are for sure White on REd or White on Black....
I like Saddle, beige etc. but not for Everyday...

my plan is to have 5% tints all around the car and imagine how nice it would look if the tints are rolled down and there is fox red in the car....

I think the red leather would be very nice. There are historic precedents. I've seen vintage Mercedes with that combo and it was sweet. Black, gray and beige are way too boring, expecially with a white car. Needs some spice! I'd prefer a rich brown.

No. Black interior will make it look like a 320i, at least the red is an exclusive M version of red, the black is probably the same hue in all BMWs.

not a fan of red interiors in general. that being said, of all the bmw red interiors i've ever seen, fox red is my favorite. its more subdued- a brickish/burnt sienna red, rather than the louder reds we've seen in the past.

still though, i'd prefer a black interor on the white M3. fox red will look great though with space gray... in my opinion.

White is my least favorite exterior color, while red may be my least favorite interior color. So yeah, I guess I am not the right person to ask.

I hate to bring this up......... but white on red was considered by the S2000 forum/community to be a gay combination. Of course there is nothing wrong with that; it is just that you may be sending a signal which may or may not be correct. I would hate for you to gain all kinds of unwanted attention. .........then again, perhaps that was just the case back in 2001. Times have changed quite a bit since then. Oh, and this is a German car. Perhaps there is now another combination which says the same thing. Hopefully it isn’t Jerez over black!

White with red would be the traditional Japanese colours. How did this gay connotation come about? How very odd.

my buddy has a White E46 M3 with Imola Red interior and it looks freakin' awesome. It sounds like it won't look so great, but when you see it it looks quite smooth!

Not sure about how it started. In fact I went back to the forum to see if I could find a thread about it, and failed. I actually got the S after I lost my down for the, at the time, new M3. You see, there was this internet bubble... ..anyway, perhaps it was from an E46 board I used to watch. Whatever, it doesn't matter all that much. If he likes the color combo, he should get it and drive with pride!

compare and think about an E46 White/Red interior, I think it'll look great. just look around from other forums which can help you deciding...that's sad honda's labeling it as a gay color combo, jeezzz.

my buddy had a Silver/Red E46 (it does looks nice in person) but sold it and got a GT3 (bastard).

Red looks great but...........

The majority of people wont like it on resale

Saddle is actually nice with the bottom being black

I would do red if you are not afraid of resale and you like it

I have a 59 Porsche Vert, Blue with red and its worth a
whole lot more to some people, my 64 Porsche is also
Blue over Red and its awesome !

I am not afraid of what others think, thats what you
have to be sure of
