Like your Avatar as well..............

I am beginning to think BMW is the official car of Superman!

Especially the E92 Coupe- Montego blu with Coral Red!

Or, if you have an M3 then I guess Interlagos with Fox Red.....

Also, I think Superman's tag line falls right in line with the new M3-

Faster than a speeding bullet......... :rocks:

Nice! I passed on my dealer's allocation (smaller dealership, one allocation thus far, only), as I am awaiting M-DCT.
Apparently, no pricing until December. My dealer was quite certain the car they have been allocated would be arriving in late December or early January!!

+1 regarding the all seasons - ugggggh. As a friend once said "All seasons = equally bad at all things". So true. That said, the M3 with winter rubber is really quite good.

Anyone have any idea (educated guess, even?) whether the e46 M3 rims might fit on the e92 M3? I am wondering whether to sell them with my M3 or keep them for the winter....

do we have any pictures on the difference between normal and high gloss shadowline? i'd rather not make this decision in the blind.

Bemve... did they show you any photos or samples of this?

Ahhh Montreal! I have sweet memories of having lots of fun in your city.

Quick question. How come you didn't go with the 18" wheels? It would be better with snow tires. Especially with the amount of snow you guys get. I would get the 18s now and save a little money then get the 19s in May when the snow is gone, and just in time for the summer. Just a thought.

You have a point but i might just get a snow bundle that they usually have during the snow period.

For Canada we are getting the december production... so they need to place the order a few month prior, i dont know if its the same for the states, it should be!

How can they not have pricing if they are really "placing" orders? August - December is about 1 1/2 to 2 months too long in the normal order process.

I haven't seen any offset specs yet? I'm hoping the Euro people can get this info soon. RAC is going to produce versions of the RG4 and RG41 for the car. I'll get the stock 19s and swap out when they are available.

My dealer has been giving me every, even minute detail about the car as they come forth. He even gave me the dealer's brochure - the one with the butterfly valve in it, to keep (FedEx'd it to me the day it arrived). They don't have pricing yet As soon as they get it, I will know, and I will post it up, assuming someone else hasn't beat me to it!

You read my mind - I missed out on RACs for my e46 - I am thinking of the RACs for the new car. Man, they are gorgeous, gorgeous rims. I am torn between ordering 18" rims, putting track-only rubber on those, and then ordering the RACs (RG4s)(hopefully they will send to Canada???), or buying OEM 19s and then also the RACs.

Decisions, decisions....

I doubt that these are official orders that are in the BMW system. Filling out an order on paper is not the same thing as the dealer entering it into the system. And, yes, common sense would suggest that would not be possible before prices are announced.

That's what I assumed, as well. However, my dealer assures me that he has specified the exact car coming to the dealership (he showed me the exact specification and the order sheet). It is "official". He ordered in Alpine White, and as I was considering buying the first car allocated, he stated that he would have to change the specification to the Jerez Black I would have preferred.
I too, think it's strange that there is no pricing yet. But it would seem this is the case - that prior to pricing being available, orders are being placed.

The plot thickens.....

Maybe US pricing will disgust so many Europeans they will wait as long as possible to announce.
