This thread makes me sad because I'm going to have to do the same thing as soon as my E92 arrives.

Had my E46 since 2006, purchased CPO'd with 10K, put 120K on it to date, no problems. Best car I've ever owned.

Looking forward to the next chapter but I'll always love the E46

Great seeing all of your pics of the E46! It's what made me oogle over the M3 to begin with. Love my e90, but if I could afford another car, I'd get a used 6MT E46 in a heartbeat! Am hoping once I'm out of residency I can still find one with low miles and lots of love

damn I love the e46...it was always my dream car and was what originally got me hooked on M's. I really considered getting an e46 M3 a couple years ago, but my wife said that I should get a new one and not used. I'm not complaining though!

Since early december it's been sleeping in the garage, but today I wen't from Montreal to Ottawa in it with the illegal summer tires here..

Ya , well when the E46 was around, as my winter car for the past two years , I didn't feel so bad. But I must admit that I didnt creep down to the garage to sit in the 1M and check out it's non-red interior and it's non-individual audio !!.

Now if only I can find a way to put the window controls near the shifter.!!!! DOH.!!!!
