128i and 135i recall

In the general discussion forum it was mentioned that there is a recall by BMW on 2008-2011 128i and 135i to replace the battery cable. Some guys in the US already got it done. Has anybody get notified in Canada?

No notification yet, but they did the recall on my car last week while it was at the dealer.

I got a call from Brian Jessels... but ended up taking it out to Auto West last week and got it done

received my letter a few days ago. Have an appointment with bmw langley next Friday. Quick and painless

Got it done at Elite BMW while in Ottawa, I'm back and forth in both cities. You'll need to drop off your car for at least 3 hours. No tune on my car yet as my warranty is expiring this week. Once the extra warranty kicks in (Bmw 6 year, 160,000km) I might consider one, or maybe just go PPK 1. Good luck!
