My German friend is trying to sell his BMW Performance exhaust. It has the stock black tips on it and he welded in the stock exhaust flap to reduce noise when he wants to quite down the noise. He is a professional welder so it looks completely stock.

Shipping through APO is included if he gets the price he would like.

What exactly is included? Y-pipe + exhaust + gaskets..... is it for an E82?

Is it possible to unweld the flap or would that not be feasible?

It's for a e82. It includes everything but gaskets. I don't think he will unweld the flap but with a JB4 or the golf tee mod you can always keep the flap open.

Update....
He said he can remove the flap and return it to just bme pe with stock black tips.

Not sure I am following what he did to flap. Is welded closed or open. Golf tee mod keeps it open at all times.

He cut the exhaust flap from the stock muffler and welded it in the same spot on the BMW Performance Exhaust.

ic now. Flap does not come with exhaust he added it.
