ah shit....
get my airbag light turned off...happy as i can be. go to school and try to put the top up. uhh nothing?! i was like shit... put the top up manually and dealer said i have to go get it reset or something.
they did put a new top in few months ago so hopefully I won't have to pay anything. since the top and workmanship is covered for 1yr/12k miles i'm at almost 67k...this is a turning point where everything goes wrong

Well, that's no good, you have just been having problem after problem haven't you? Looks like I am going to get the extended warrenty after all!
I got my car about 7 weeks ago and I already have over 4,000 miles on it

ok top started to work again today... WTF!
they told me i had to "reset" something at the dealership he goes "its very complicated, its going to take hours" well time cured the problem for now but you bet ur ass i'm going to use that extended warranty till i get my moneys worth lol

Remember to check the "shelf" sensor. You know those little thing in the trunk that allow you to fit a little more but stop the top from coming down. I remember reading something on Z4um about the sensor "sticking". Or it could just be one was up and it was put back in position.

Have an 06 Z4 had the same problem it was item in the trunk. up and down if items are in the way.

lease assumption. You never know, you could find an 06 for $437 a mo. and no money down.
