Open area to practice driving techniques?
Hey everyone,
May sound strange but I'm looking for an area where I can practice car control techniques, something like the airport they use TopGear. I've done plenty of track days at PIR and even race school in Languna but would really like to go somewhere where I could drift the car safely. Maybe setup some cones and practice some turn in's etc but not an "offical" event, just an open area. Is there anything in Portland? Thanks! |

Both PIR and SIR/Pacific have skid pads next to the paddock. I got yelled at and kicked out for using the one at Pacific. Maybe Prodrive can let you use the one at PIR?
