Evo????
you guys think i could beat a mildly modified evo??? by mildly modified i mean some weight shaven off, turbo timer, BOV, intake, full exhuast set up, and an upgraded chip. im plannin on racing my friend. i would prob stay with him in the beginning but he would pull when the rpms get high.

If it's an Evo 8, it'll be close but if it's a 9 then he very well could take you.
BTW, turbo timers and blow off valves don't make a car any faster. |

What's the mechanical difference between Evo 8 and 9? I thought they are almost the same, which I don't really see why Evo 9 will walk away while Evo 8 will be close.

My M Coupe with all 270lbs of me was as fast or faster than all but the top Evos at Spring Mountain this last weekend. And that track suits AWD, imo.
